Membership Meeting Report—From the President’s Desk
April 9, 2024 marked a historic milestone for Reformed Fellowship. On that day, our membership voted overwhelmingly to remain a membership-driven corporation. Prior to this, we wavered between functioning as a membership and a directorship corporation—sometimes appearing as one while operating as the other. With this vote, our articles of incorporation remained unchanged and our bylaws were amended to reflect the clear wishes of our members.
One of the aspects of our operation as a membership corporation is the annual membership meeting, which we held on November 13, 2025. Board members Dr. Andrew Compton, Rev. Casey Freswick, Mr. Tom Kooienga, and Dr. Dan Ragusa were reappointed to new terms. We are deeply grateful for their continued service.
The board of Reformed Fellowship also reaffirmed its goal of having twelve members. We currently have ten. If you have a strong desire to defend the Reformed faith and bring expertise in finance or marketing, we warmly invite you to consider joining us.
This year marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea—a defining moment in church history that affirmed the Trinitarian personhood of God against prevailing heresies. To commemorate this, we hosted a webinar with Dr. Alan Strange on November 13, 2025 following our membership meeting. In this session, Dr. Strange explored the heresies leading up to the Council of Nicaea and the results of that council, some of which continue to affect Protestant and Roman Catholic churches to this day. You can watch the entire webinar at here.
Those interested in the history of the Nicene Creed will be interested to read two titles from our youth section, "Athanasius" and "Macrina of Cappadocia". Richly illustrated and simply told, these biographies are large print and written for kids, but they are so well researched they are popular with adults as well. They can be purchased separately or as part of the "Early Church" biography set.
Consider a Year-End Gift to Reformed Fellowship
Approaching the end of 2025, the board of Reformed Fellowship thanks our readers, contributors, members, and supporters for their involvement in our ministry. We also ask for your continued prayers and support. We are currently seeing shortfalls in these areas:
· Donations to support the continued distribution of The Outlook to more than 300 readers in prison
· Church offerings received, which make up a major part of our operating funds
· Outlook subscriptions to offset rising print costs
We are thankful for strong book sales in 2025, a lineup of new titles already prepared for 2026, and many encouraging signs that the work of Reformed Fellowship continues to be both needed and valued. As we look forward to celebrating our 75th anniversary as a group of Reformed men and women eager to share the riches of the Christian faith, we invite you once again to join us.
