Board Updates

1. We will be announcing the winners of our student essay competition later this month. The winning essays will be published in the September/October issue of The Outlook. The contest received lots of interest, and we hope to run it again in future years!

2. We will be commissioning additional Bible studies to be written in the coming years to round out our study series.

3. Rev. Bradd Nymeyer has finished writing a commentary on the Church Order of the United Reformed Churches in North America. We look forward to publishing this important study resource.

Go & Teach Conference

Reformed Fellowship was present at the annual Go & Teach conference held in Jordan Station, Ontario, Canada on April 25-26. We had a table with many of our books and publications and were able to hand out copies of The Outlook magazine. Speakers at the conference included John W. Tweedale, Dr. Gerald M. Bilkes, Dr. Theodore G. Van Raalte, and Dr. Brian G. Najapfour. The theme this year was "Christ & His Kingdom," which focused on living with a biblical view as citizens of His kingdom in a fallen world awaiting Christ's triumphant return. Dr. Najapfour gave a passionate presentation on the place of covenant children in God's kingdom and argued on the basis of the parable of the dragnet, found in Matthew 13:47-49, for infant baptism.

More and more ministries and organizations are purchasing ads in The Outlook. We take this as a sign of growing confidence in the magazine’s direction and reader base. Each advertiser is approved by the board for consistency with Reformed Fellowship’s mission.
