Board Updates
At our February meeting, we discussed the results of the strategic feedback survey extensively. Thank you to all who took time to provide valuable ideas and constructive criticism as we enter our 75th year of ministry.
College Essay Competition (Deadline: June 1)
The board approved holding an undergraduate essay competition this spring with this prompt:
Write a 1500-to-2000-word persuasive essay that offers a Reformed, Christian, and biblical outlook on a specific public issue currently confronting the church or society. The essay should interact with the historic continental Reformed tradition and should reference at least one of the Three Forms of Unity—the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, and/or the Canons of Dort.
The competition is open to undergraduate students at any college or university. There will be a cash prize for first and second place, plus publication of the winning essays in The Outlook. We hope this initiative will encourage college students to adapt a term paper from this spring or write a new piece on a subject they are passionate about. Spring Conference Roundup
We continue to host tables at various conferences across the United States and Canada. We are thankful for organizations that allow us to share Reformed Fellowship’s work, and we also appreciate the many volunteers who help to staff the tables at these events.
