Board Updates

We approved the publication of The Generosity Principle by Bryce Bartruff. Look for this new booklet in the fall!
We are sponsoring a table and giveaways at an upcoming conference hosted by Reformed Forum, a likeminded organization. Their conference is entitled “Ordinary Means, Extraordinary Ends: Word, Sacrament, and the Great Commission” and will take place at Hope Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Grayslake, Illinois on September 28. Catechism Season Begins

This summer’s shipment of the Life in Christ catechism curriculum has arrived at our distribution office in Michigan. These willing helpers unloaded and sorted the boxes in just over half an hour. These books will be the last of the first edition. Chino URC is getting the second edition ready for 2025, which will include some important updates:

Bible translation updated from NIV to ESV
Use of the official URCNA translations of the Three Forms of Unity expressing historic Reformed positions
Teacher’s key for each book

Details on the new pricing and availability of the second edition will be announced in the September/October Outlook.

From the Editorial and Publications Committee

Reformed Fellowship’s publication committee seeks a volunteer to convert scanned pdfs to a Word document as part of a larger book project. This would be a great service project for a tech-savvy high schooler or for an interested person of any age. Interested parties are asked to please contact Dr. Andrew Compton at acompton@midamerica.edu.

Partner Update: Reformed Mission Services

We are grateful to Bethany URC for the use of their space as a distribution office, but due to high volume, Reformed Fellowship currently uses overflow storage. However, Reformed Mission Services is seeking to build a facility that can eventually house their own ministry with extra room for organizations such as ours, enabling us to keep our operations in one central location.
