This clear, concise resource helps us understand our relationship with God and “our” money. How does God want us to use the resources He has entrusted to us - if not for eternal purposes? I heartily recommend this biblically-based and practical guide to a God-honoring stewardship of our earthly possessions.

Dawn G. Doorn, Vice President for Advancement, Westminster Seminary California

The Bible speaks often about money, and yet Christians can remain largely ignorant of its teaching. The answer is not merely to wrap our minds around the information, but to get our hearts behind it, too. Bryce Bartruff’s latest book is a helpful remedy on both counts. Writing from years of personal experience and professional expertise, he presents the Bible’s teaching on finances in a manner that inspires us to steward our resources in a worshipful, cheerful, and sacrificial way. The result is an accessible and enjoyable introduction to this critical subject. This is a book that every Christian should read and every church should have.

Cheers for A Cheerful Giver

Got my copy today- a day off - and enjoyed reading it right through. (Not a difficult task-and a delightful one as well!) This is a wonderful contribution to instruct Christians in loving God more deeply which is always worthwhile.

I especially enjoyed (and am reminded of the need as well as witness of) being a self-disciplined person with money. Thank you for wrapping that into your book.

I’ve always enjoyed your teaching with the premarital class (back in the day) and hear many echoes of those lessons. But I do like this shortened form even better.

May our Lord richly bless its publication.
